    The Alabama Bureau of Protection is a locally owned and operated Protective Services and Private Security agency dedicated to serving the business' and communities of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. Established in late 2003 by the Owner, and Chief of Staff, Christopher A. Jones, the agency opened it's doors with hopes to provide the best customer service oriented security services available on the market today. Tactical Approach Training

Experienced, trained, professionals are what makes the difference!

    ALL personnel have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable experience in Armed Security,          Force Protection, Military Police/Security, prior Law Enforcement, or Federal Protective Services.

Personnel qualified for employment with the Alabama Bureau of Protection are subjected to an extensive background investigation and pre-employment drug screening. No Exceptions!

Upon successful completion of all pre-employment investigations and screenings, ABP                 applicants must complete and pass certain training criteria set forth by the agency to include:

• Weapons Knowledge and Safety Training
• Basic Officer Conduct, Professional Culture Training
• Command Presence
• Firearms Training / Tactical Qualification Course
• Use of Force / Deadly Force / Intermediate Weapons
• Suspect Interviewing / Defensive Techniques
• Tactical Handcuffing
• Uniformed Vehicle / Walking Patrol Techniques
• Sexual Harassment Overview
• Personal Hygiene and Appearance
• General Customer Service
• CPR / AED

      **Weapons Qualifiation includes: Standing, Kneeling, Use of Cover, and Off-Hand Skills.
